Joaquin DeMoreta
Joaquin served in the United States Marine Corps as a mechanic beginning in 1995. During this time he maintained UH1-N and AH1-W while also serving as a door gunner. In 2001, Joaquin entered the civilian sector and began working as a FAA A&P technician and IA . Joaquin went on to found Digital AirWare, LLC in 2007 and continues to build on the foundations and capabilities today.

Michael DeMoreta
Michael graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice & Police Science. He transitioned to the aviation industry in 2010 and has extensive knowledge with Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacture guidelines for aircraft maintenance. Michael has provided support to clients as a Quality Assurance/Aircraft Records Auditor and continues to manage client relations and day to day company operations. With his law enforcement background and aviation experience Digital Airware has been able to become a leading software provider to the law enforcement sector.

Laura (DeMoreta) McGaffney
Laura graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management, minor in finance, CalArts specialization in UX Design and University of Michigan specialization in Leading Teams and People. She retired from corporate America in 2010, developing the foundations for Digital AirWares’ substantial growth in the law enforcement market. Laura has provided support to clients as the financials, procurement specialist and sales. She also contributes to the daily logistics of our President and Vice-President duties.

Alyssa DeMoreta
Alyssa graduated from Liberty University with her Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Administration, with a minor of Aviation Safety in 2023. Although she is “New” to the aviation industry she was raised being in the hangar and Digital AirWare her whole life. Alyssa enjoys supporting Digital AirWare clients with its Parts and Safety Division which is setting the Standards in the industry.

Emily Howlett
Emily graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminology with a minor in Psychology and Rio Salado College with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.
After assisting the City of Phoenix Police Department’s Aerial Support Unit implement Digital Airware, she retired in 2023 from the Department after a nearly decade long career as a Police Officer and Field Trainer.
Emily has been supporting clients with Digital Airware since 2022 and is now the Manager for Onboarding Aviation Operations.

Caitlin Rathke
Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a minor in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, complemented by associate degrees from Cape Fear Community College. Caitlin brings valuable skills to drive data-driven improvements and ensure compliance with data regulations in her role as our new Aviation Onboarding Specialist. She ensures that every client has every tool available during the onboarding process and the best Digital AirWare Customer Service Experience.

Justin Kallner
Justin began his career as a helicopter crew chief in the United States Army in 1998. He later went on to serve as the Director of Maintenance for the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office as both a mechanic and a sworn deputy sheriff. He is an A&P Mechanic with IA, and is also a Commercial Pilot. Justin has spent over 26 years in helicopter aviation as a leader and technical expert in the field of turbine helicopter maintenance management and operations.
